Food Preservation in combo bin/box chilling

Air Liquide experts have developed cryogenic temperature control solutions using carbon dioxide to ensure that unprocessed poultry, meat and seafood raw products remain at refrigerated temperatures in the combo-bin and that any microbial growth is minimized while products are stored and/or shipped in these containers. Automated systems can ensure that there is a consistent distribution and thorough mixing of the carbon dioxode snow with the product throughout the combo-bin, while providing an additional reduction in labour costs. Manual systems using CO2 snow, pellets or dry ice are also available and can be produced on-site from a liquid tank source or purchased directly from Air Liquide.
